I am very confident with many of these statements. However, I may need more practice with the switch statements as I sometimes get syntax errors in it. Generating random numbers is something that I am confident in using too if they are put in the equation statement. I am also confident in understanding compound boolean expressions as well as working with the Math Class. One thing that always challenges me are new statements to learn because once I am confident with one statement, I would like to keep using those statements as much as possible. My favorite program are ones like Rock Paper Scissors and Package Check where they have coding that can be used with if statements. My least favorite program to write is ones like Math Tutor and Hurricane where they involve switch statments and random number used in those statements.

Unit 3 Reflection: Variables and Constants (2/28/17)
During the unit, I didn't have much of a problem during this unit as I understood how to use the coding we were taught during the unit. I tended to just use the same format every time and adjust the coding to fit the requirements for the exercises. Although some exercises took a long time to finally figure out how to do, I was never stuck and lost as I achieved progress through working out the coding and logic. After a short amount of time, I was able to finish the minimum requirements and even go beyond that by doing a couple more exercises.
- Declare and initialize variables and constants? Yes
- Get User input? Yes
- Differentiating data types? Yes
- Access java packages? A bit confused at some points
- Format numeric expressions and write them? Yes
- format numeric output? A little bit
- Recognize and know why you need to know Java keywords? I know a little bit because it is shorter and more effective in the coding,
- Understand when Run-time exceptions will occur based on our topics this unit? Yes
- Problem solving? Yes
- Interpret the planning and execution of the case study? Yes
- What do you feel you have learned well in this unit? I have learned in the unit to add variables and constants that is given by the user.
- What is still confusing to you? Many of the statements that involve a module (like exercise 7)
- What do you want to learn more about? I want to learn more about statements like if and "and".
